2. Create a Sitemap
What is a sitemap?
It is a file where all your site’s information, like pages, videos, images and files etc. are placed.
Why Sitemap?

3. Create a robots.txt file
It is a text file which webmasters create for their sites.
In this file, you can give instructions to search engines like goggle about how to crawl pages on your site.
You can specify in your robots.txt file, which pages or google can access and which pages it can’t access.
4. Install google analytics
This free tool from google will help you to know number of people visits and their interaction with your site.

5. Set up Google Search Console
This is a free service provided by google.
If you want to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot your site’s presence in Google Search results, then you must set this tool up.
It provides information about:
- Number of visitors on your site
- How visitors are finding your site
- Number of your mobile and computer visitors
- Which pages on your site are the most popular
